Get started
Three steps to your first session.
It takes about five minutes. What you share stays between you and Rev. Acquaah.
Step 1
Who is the counseling for?
Pick the one that fits best. You can change it later.
Step 2
How would you like to meet?
Same process and same care either way.
Step 3
Choose a time and pay
Your booking is confirmed once the session fee is paid.
Your first session
What happens when you arrive
We open in prayer, if you are comfortable with that.
You each get time to explain what is happening in your own words.
You fill in a short questionnaire about your background and goals.
Rev. Acquaah explains the plan, how many sessions to expect and the cost.
You go home with one thing to practise before the next session.
Common questions
Before you book
Is what we say kept private?
Yes. Nothing you share is passed on to your church, your family or anyone else. The only exception is if someone is in danger of serious harm.
Do both spouses have to come?
It helps, but it is not required. Many people start alone and their spouse joins later once they see the change.
What language are sessions in?
English or Twi, or a mix of both. Tell us what you prefer when you book.
Do I need to be a Christian?
No. The counseling is based on the Bible and Rev. Acquaah will be open about that, but everyone is welcome.
How many sessions will we need?
Most couples need between six and ten sessions. You will get a clear estimate at the end of your first meeting.
